Meeting of the Co-Chairs of the Government Delegations of Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan on Border Delimitation and Demarcation

 On December 4, the Kyrgyz city of Batken hosted the meeting of the co-chairs of the government delegations of Tajikistan and the Kyrgyz Republic on the border delimitation and demarcation Saimumin Yatimov and Kamchybek Tashiev.

The heads of the Tajik and Kyrgyz government delegations reached an agreement and fully completed the description of the remaining sections of the Tajik-Kyrgyz state border.

They also gave instructions to the working groups of the government delegations of Tajikistan and the Kyrgyz Republic on the border delimitation and demarcation to begin the process of drawing up the final documents for the delimitation of the Tajik-Kyrgyz state border.

The meeting was held in an atmosphere of friendship and mutual understanding.
